Feeling slightly better
Well, I’m still not entirely over this cold-flu-bug-whatever that is going around. I’m feeling slightly better, but I still sound something like Harvey Fierstein impersonating Carol Channing, so I won’t drop a video on you this week. 🙂 And, if my Facebook feed is any indication, at least half the country is either sick with this same bug, or knows someone who is.
But enough about that. Along with my regular Phydlbitz Sock, this week I got a cone of some new-to-me yarns, a light fingering of 80% Superwash 19.5 micron Merino/20% Nylon, 500 yards, a 4-ply yarn with a recommended gauge at 7-8 sts/in, US 0-3 needle. It has a rather firm twist, which I suspect will give lovely stitch definition.
As I was dyeing this new yarn, it seemed like the dye just was not striking very well, but after steaming, it came up beautifully!
So, I dyed 8 of these Light Fingering, along with 16 Phydlbitz Sock. All of the Light Fingering were dyed as Singles, all the Phydlbitz were dyed as Twinsets.
These should be ready to ship on or before Wednesday. To claim yours off the rack, just send me an email with your numbered selection.
The Light Fingering is $28.00 each and the Phydlbitz Sock is $27.00. For Sunday and Monday, you get $2.00 off for preview pricing, before I reskein and photograph each one individually for the Blog Reader Specials page.
